Tara M. Higgins, Esq.
Tara Higgins manages defense litigation involving matters of premises liability, vehicular negligence, municipal liability defense, arbitration claims and appellate matters.
Prior to joining Lewis Johs, Tara was an attorney of record with a major insurer’s staff counsel where she concentrated on the defense of personal injury cases involving labor law, products liability, premises liability and vehicular negligence. She was also responsible for training and supervising junior trial attorneys.
Tara was admitted to practice in New Jersey in 1990 and New York in 1991. She is a member of the Nassau-Suffolk Trial Lawyers Association, New York State Bar Association, Suffolk County Bar Association and Suffolk County Women’s Bar Association. She has authored and presented seminars to the insurance industry on premises and automobile liability issues.
Tara Higgins received her Juris Doctor degree in 1990 from Seton Hall University School of Law. In 1987 she was awarded a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and English from Villanova University.
