Steven J. Forbes, Esq.

Steven J. Forbes, Esq. graduated from Amherst College, cum laude, 1986 and received his J.D., with honors, from George Washington University in 1989. He has been a member of the Ohio State Bar for 14 years. Steve has extensive civil and criminal trial experience. He has tried over 50 cases to juries on issues ranging from murder and disorderly conduct to wrongful death and employment discrimination. He was head of the professional liability practice group – which included all employment related claims – at the law firm of Janik & Dunn (later Janik & Forbes). He has successfully represented employers in employment matters since 1995. This representation included claims of sexual harassment, sex discrimination, race discrimination, disability discrimination, age discrimination and tortious interference with business relations in state and federal courts. He also represents physicians, attorneys and insurance agents in professional negligence claims.
