While in law school at night, he adjusted claims during the day for a major regional property/casualty insurer. Upon his licensure, he defended civil lawsuits in-house for that insurance company for seven years, practicing in both the Cincinnati and Dayton markets. In 1987, Steve joined the firm as an established trial lawyer. He became a shareholder in 1990. Steve’s trial practice has been varied, from employment relations to insurance coverage to all types of tort defense. In 2004, Steve was named as managing shareholder for the firm’s new Columbus office, where he remains to this day.
