Background
Born and raised in Sheridan, Oregon, Shenoa graduated from Azusa Pacific University, summa cum laude, with a B.A. in psychology and sociology in 2003. Shenoa returned to Oregon to receive her law degree, magna cum laude, from Willamette University College of Law in 2008. Before law school, Shenoa advocated for the needs of individuals with disabilities as a behavioral therapist, camp counselor and co-manager of a group home.

While at Willamette, Shenoa served as the President of the Willamette University Public Interest Law Project in 2006-07 and 2007-08. Shenoa was also a member of the Willamette Law Review.

After law school, Shenoa served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Rick T. Haselton of the Oregon Court of Appeals from 2008-09 and the Honorable Virginia L. Linder of the Oregon Supreme Court from 2009-10.

Community Involvement
Shenoa devotes a significant amount of time to mentoring law students from the Willamette University College of Law. In recognition of her dedication, Willamette awarded Shenoa “Mentor of the Year” for the 2009-2010 academic year.

Shenoa is also committed to increasing the diversity of the Oregon State Bar and has served on the Bar’s Diversity Subcommittee on Employment and Advancement. Shenoa is currently serving on the 2011 Convocation on Equality Legal Employer Engagement Committee and Mentoring/Networking Committee.
