Ruth concentrates her practice in the areas of business and commercial law and litigation, representation of commercial lenders in mortgage-secured commercial loan transactions, and general creditors’ rights. Ruth also has broad experience with grant applications and not-for-profit organizations.

Prior to rejoining Nolan Heller Kauffman in 2018, Ruth worked for the firm from 1991 to 1993 in the area of creditors’ rights and bankruptcy and assisted with special projects within the firm from 2014 forward. She continued in the area of creditors’ rights and litigation as an associate with Richard J. Miller & Associates from 1993 to 1999, at which time she took a hiatus from the practice of law to raise her three children.
