As a member of Rothman Gordon's Workers' Compensation and Social Security Disability department, Richard counsels injured workers on receiving fair and equitable compensation for work related injuries. Coupled with his litigation experience, including appeals to the Workers' Compensation Appeals Board, Richard is able to assist his clients in navigating the Workers' Compensation process. He has also litigated in domestic practice, arbitration and has a broad based municipal law experience as both a solicitor and in defense of municipal entities. Richard began his career at Gaitens, Tucceri & Nicholas and later worked at Marshall, Dennehey, Warner, Coleman & Goggin. Prior to joining Rothman Gordon, Richard did contract work in the Washington D.C. area.

Richard received his B.A. in 1990 from Juniata College. After graduation, he worked in the retail and transportation industries, gaining experience working with union workers. Richard received his J.D. in 1998 from The Thomas M. Cooley Law School and was able to gain practical experience prior to graduation working as a law clerk and participating in a full time internship. He is a member of the Allegheny County Bar Association, the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the Pennsylvania Association for Justice.
