Richard H. Thornton, Esq.
Richard H. Thornton practices in commercial real estate, business and commercial lending law, where he regularly represents businesses, lenders, sellers and buyers.
In real estate, he is experienced in financing, purchases and sales, development, leasing and title matters. He has been counsel in transactions involving shopping centers, apartment complexes, ranches and farms and commercial developments.
In his commercial and business practice, Mr. Thornton assists clients in their day-to-day legal needs as well as with financing, secured transactions (personal property lending), equipment leasing, supply agreements, the formation and conduct of businesses, contract negotiations and structuring, asset and stock purchase-sale transactions and the preparation and negotiation of loan documents.
Prior Professional Experience
After 20 years of practice with another Salt Lake City law firm, where he served as president and director, Mr. Thornton joined Prince Yeates as a shareholder in 1999.
