Rene Casilli joined Brayton Purcell as an associate in 2009, focusing on handling claims for longshoreman and their dependants under the Longshore and Harbor Workers Compensation Act. She works out of our Novato, California office.

Ms. Casilli attended the Empire College School of Law and graduated with her J.D. in 2008. She attended the University of Maryland as an undergraduate, transferring to Sonoma State University to complete her degree. Ms. Casilli earned both a bachelor’s degree and California teaching credential from Sonoma State University in 1997.

Prior to joining Brayton Purcell, Ms. Casilli worked as a teacher for a specialized program in Santa Rosa, California. She also welcomed the arrival of her first child. In her free time, Ms. Casilli enjoys hiking, camping, traveling and spending time with her family in California and Pennsylvania.

Ms. Casilli is admitted to practice in California and the Untied States District Court, Northern District of California. She is a member of the Consumer Attorneys of California and the San Francisco Trial Lawyers Association. Ms. Casilli formerly served on the Board of Directors of Sonoma County’s Child Care Council.
