Profile
Phillip Lewis is a litigator whose practice consists of real estate litigation, complex commercial litigation, attorney malpractice defense, and contract law, including the Uniform Commercial Code. Mr. Lewis also handles appellate matters.
Mr. Lewis is admitted to practice before the United States Court of Appeals (Fourth Circuit), the United States District Court for the Western District of North Carolina, and all North Carolina state courts.
While in law school, Mr. Lewis served as Editor in Chief of the Campbell Law Review and was employed as a research assistant for Williston on Contracts (4th ed., Richard A. Lord), a nationally recognized treatise on contract law.
Mr. Lewis is the author of A Brief Comment on the Application of the Contemporary Community Standard to the Internet, 22 Campbell L. Rev. 143 (1999).
Mr. Lewis serves on the Board of Directors for the Humane Society of Charlotte and is a writer for the Mecklenburg County Bar Communications Committee. He also volunteers at the Hickory Community Theatre and formerly served on the Exhibits Committee for the Catawba Science Center.
