Nikki Velisaris Lykos, Esq.
Summary:
Nikki Velisaris Lykos joined Rothman Gordon as an associate upon passing the Bar in 2007, after two years as a law clerk with the firm. Nikki’s practice is concentrated in litigation, representing and advising clients in various labor and employment matters. Nikki primarily represents plaintiffs in litigation involving age, gender, disability and retaliation discrimination as well as claims under the Family Medical Leave Act and Equal Pay Act. Nikki also works with the Corporate & Business department, advising closely-held and family-owned businesses in various types of transactions as well as with the litigation group, handling commercial and business disputes.
Nikki holds a B.S. in Finance and a B.A. in Journalism from Penn State University. She earned her MBA from Duquesne University in 2006 and her J.D., from Duquesne University’s School of Law in 2007.
Nikki was selected to be a member of the 2010-2011 Bar Leadership Initiative Class for the Young Lawyers Division (YLD) of the Allegheny County Bar Association. The group of 15 young lawyers is selected by the YLD Council from numerous candidates and are trained to become leaders within the ACBA and the community.
