Michael Hatfield, Esq.

Michael began his career as a law clerk with Kells in 1995, was admitted as a lawyer in 2000 and appointed an associate in 2002. He holds Law and Commerce Degrees (Honours) from the University of Wollongong. 

At Kells, Michael was responsible for the operations of the Dapto office until 2002, when he moved to the Shellharbour location where he practices as a commercial and property lawyer. As well as many local businesses, he acts for a number of developers and partnerships involved with a wide range of residential and commercial properties. During his career, Michael has acted for thousands of buyers and sellers of property. 

Michael holds a private pilot’s licence: he started flying when he was only 16 and actually flew an aeroplane solo before he was able to drive a car by himself.

Michael takes a very personal approach to his clients and most come back to him time after time. He believes in making the legal process work for his clients to ensure they get the result they need in the shortest possible time.
