Michael Levinson joined Brayton Purcell as an associate attorney in 2010 and is active in our asbestos litigation practice at our Novato, California office.

Mr. Levinson attended law school at the University of Miami School of Law and graduated, cum laude, in 2010. While in law school, he externed for the Honorable Maxine M. Chesney of the United States District Court, Northern District of California and worked as a code enforcement intern with the San Francisco City Attorney’s Office. He was a member of the University of Miami International & Comparative Law Review, where he served as Articles and Comments Editor. He authored (F)linging (I)nstitutional (F)reedoms (A)side: Why FIFA’s “6+5” Will Not Survive, 17 U. MIAMI INT’L & COMP. L. REV. 191 (2010). Mr. Levinson received the Dean’s Certificate of Achievement for outstanding performance in Legal Research & Writing. Prior to law school, he attended the University of California, Berkeley and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science in 2005.

Before venturing to Miami, Mr. Levinson worked at Brayton Purcell as an administrativ e assistant in the Probate Department for two years. After graduating law school, he rejoined the firm as a law clerk before becoming an associate attorney.

Mr. Levinson is admitted to practice in California and the United States District Court, Northern District of California and is a member of the Consumer Attorneys of California.
