Michael A. Fowdy, Esq.
Michael devotes the majority of his practice to protecting the rights of lending institutions. He concentrates on the litigation of contested actions in bankruptcy matters arising out of residential mortgage foreclosure proceedings throughout the State of Wisconsin. An alumnus of the University of Wisconsin Law School, cum laude, before joining the KMKSC team Michael counseled individuals and small businesses on Chapter 7, and Chapter 13 of the Federal Bankruptcy Code and debt amortization under Chapter 128 of the Wisconsin Statutes. He has represented clients in federal bankruptcy courts in the Eastern and Western Districts of Wisconsin, in insolvency actions before Wisconsin circuit courts, and in federal administrative proceedings. Michael has also developed experience in the evaluation of key legal documentation related to bankruptcy, real estate and foreclosure, including security agreements, mortgage and title documents, deeds, divorce decrees, trusts, and tax liens.
