Melis Oget Koc, Esq.

Melis Öget Koç has industry knowledge of and a practical approach to the area of aviation finance. She has represented aircraft manufacturers and financiers in various complex aircraft financing transactions involving aircraft leasing and loan financing, security establishment. She continues to act for SZLO clients including various blue chip airline companies, export credit agencies, internationally recognized banks, other financial institutions, significant aircraft operators and aircraft/engine/spare part manufacturers. She has also participated in a range of M&A deals and she has drafted and negotiated share purchase agreements, asset transfer agreements, shareholders and share pledge agreements. She also regularly advises clients on pharmaceutical law transactions in connection with drafting and negotiation of distribution, license and agency agreements and provides legal service in the context of joint ventures, corporate governance and employment matters to various clients.

Melis Öget Koç graduated from Ankara University, Faculty of Law in 2006. She is studying for an LL.M. on Maritime Law at Ankara University Social Sciences Institute of Law. She was admitted to the Istanbul Bar in 2008.
