Matthew R. Maron, Esq.
Matthew R. Maron concentrates his practice on commercial litigation, as well as white collar criminal and regulatory matters. Mr. Maron received his B.A. from Emory University in 2000, with a double major in History and Political Science. He received his J.D. from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in 2004, where he served as Executive Editor of the Moot Court Honor Society, and was inducted into the Order of the Barristers.
During law school, Mr. Maron served as a research assistant to Professor Charles M. Yablon, contributing research to Professor Yablon’s article Hindsight, Regret, and Safe Harbor in Rule 11 Litigation, 37 LOY. L.A. L. REV. 599 (2004). Following graduation, Mr. Maron served as a law clerk to both the Hon. Charles Edward Ramos and the Hon. Marsha L. Steinhardt, both of the Supreme Court of the State of New York.
He is a member of the New York State Bar Association and its Commercial Division Law Report Committee, and the Association of the Bar of the City of New York. Mr. Maron is admitted to practice in the State of New York as well as the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. He is also admitted to practice in the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.
