Martin A. Canales was born and raised in Rio Grande City, Starr County, Texas. He obtained a degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin in 1989, and a Juris Doctor degree from South Texas College of Law in 2002. He is a member of Texas State Bar Association and American Bar Association.

Martin is fluent in Spanish and has over 15 years of international experience with the largest oil company in the world. His work experience includes contract administration, environmental claims and litigation, project management, liability management in property transactions, environmental engineering, and construction and maintenance of petroleum facilities.

Mr. Canales currently concentrates his practice in the areas of construction litigation, professional liability, business/consumer transactions, and condominium/homeowner association issues.
