Maristella Collazo-Soto, Esq.
Ms. Collazo-Soto joined Ferraiuoli as an Associate, in September 2010. While completing her LL.M. in Intellectual Property Law, Mrs. Collazo-Soto served as a Judicial Clerk for the Administrative Judge of the New York Supreme Court, the Honorable Sherry K. Heitler.
Prior to joining Ferraiuoli, Ms. Collazo-Soto worked as an Associate in the Labor and Employment Law Department at McConnell Valdés LLC and as a Legislative Advisor in the Puerto Rico House of Representatives.
Her main areas of practice currently include: intellectual property, commercial litigation, labor and employment law and corporate law. Given her background in business and intellectual property, Ms. Collazo-Soto has become highly skillful in the drafting of newspaper, software, copyright and trademark licensing agreements. She also has experience in corporate governance matters and in counseling clients in disputes among shareholders.
With our Litigation Group, Ms. Collazo-Soto has successfully represented clients in unfair trade, and trademark, counterfeit and patent infringement cases. Currently, she also represents clients in litigation matters of our Labor & Employment Department and contributes to the employers’ counseling practice.
