Maria del Rosario Fernandez-Ginorio, Esq.
Ms. Fernández joined Ferraiuoli LLC in January 2009 as a Senior Associate. She obtained a Bachelor of Arts with honors in Public Communication from American University in Washington D.C. in 2001, and received her Juris Doctor degree from the Inter American University of Puerto Rico School of Law in 2004. She was admitted to the Puerto Rico Bar in 2005 and as a Notary Public that same year.
During her last year as a law student, Ms. Fernández worked as a law clerk in the Legal Aid Clinic of the Inter American University of Puerto Rico School of Law, specifically in the environmental litigation program. Upon graduation from law school, Ms. Fernández joined Vázquez & Vázquez as a law clerk and later on as Associate Attorney, where she worked for almost three years as counsel to employers in labor and employment matters. Ms. Fernández represented corporate and government clients in both court and administrative proceedings.
From August 2007 until January 2009 Ms. Fernández worked as Associate Attorney at Bufete Roberto Corretjer Piquer where she developed an extensive practice in the following areas: civil and commercial litigation, construction law, administrative law, real estate transactions including leasehold agreements, settlement agreements and other real estate instruments. There she also participated in the representation of various corporate and government clients in cases relating to collection and eviction of commercial property and public housing.
Ms. Fernández concentrates her practice in civil commercial litigation, including labor and employment law.
