Leslie attended Elon University, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Administration and Political Science in 2006 and her Juris Doctor in 2009, both with cum laude distinction.
While at Elon University, Leslie was a Leadership Fellow and the 2005 female recipient of the J. Earl Danieley Leadership Award. At Elon Law, Leslie specialized in litigation and was actively involved in the Student Bar Association where she served as a student representative to the Faculty Academic Committee, and as a Class Representative. Leslie was also a student research assistant to the Associate Dean of Development, and participated in the North Carolina Youth Advocacy and Involvement’s Office Summer Internship program, where she clerked in the North Carolina Court Appeals with the Honorable Linda Stephens. Leslie is also a charter member of the Elon Law Alumni Council.
Leslie joined the firm in September 2009 and divides her practice between employment law, government and municipal law and workers’ compensation. She is a member of the North Carolina State Bar, North Carolina Bar Association, Wake County Bar Association, and the North Carolina Association of Defense Attorneys.
