L. Henry McKellar, Esq.

L. Henry McKellar is Of Counsel to Collins & Lacy.  A graduate of the University of South Carolina in 1967, Henry served four years in the United States Navy before earning his law degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 1974.  Since then, Henry has accumulated more than three decades of experience on both sides of the bench, serving in both private and public roles.  Henry was the associate general counsel for South Carolina National Bank for 14 years, while also serving as the mayor of Arcadia Lakes, SC, for eight years.   Most recently, Henry was a South Carolina Circuit Court  Judge, holding the position for 11 years.  He is considered one of South Carolina’s pre-eminent attorneys, according to peers and Martindale-Hubbell. He also is one of The Best Lawyers in America, the oldest and most respected peer-review publication in the legal profession.
