Kimberly Sullivan, Esq.
Kimberly is a litigator with extensive experience in all phases of litigation. Her litigation career has spanned many practice areas, including professional liability, pharmaceutical litigation, employment law and commercial litigation. Kimberly has achieved excellent trial results for her clients. Kimberly represents a wide array of clients, from individuals to national and international companies, and a considerable portion of her practice is devoted to the representation of regional, national and international insurance carriers. Kimberly’s clients value her intuitive approach in recognizing the core goals of the litigation and formulating the best strategy tailored to the client and the nature of the case.
Kimberly’s professional liability practice has included the representation of hospitals and physicians in more than 50 medical malpractice actions. Throughout her career, Kimberly has regularly recruited and prepared expert witnesses from a wide variety of fields, including many medical specialties, various engineering fields, accident reconstruction, economics, psychology, physiatry, vocational rehabilitation, life care planning, nursing, epidemiology, entomology, banking, foreign law, and various insurance specialties. Kimberly’s practice regularly includes alternative dispute resolution, including mediation and arbitration. She also has worked closely with professionals to conduct formal mock trials and professional witness training.
Kimberly’s employment practice has included sexual harassment claims and age, disability and race discrimination claims. Her employment work has ranged from advising on employment matters, handling EEOC claims, and litigating employment suits.
Kimberly also has an extensive appellate background. Upon graduating from law school, she served a one-year appellate clerkship with the Hon. Neil F. Deighan in the New Jersey Superior Court – Appellate Division. Throughout her years of private practice she has regularly handled appeals in state and federal courts. Her appellate experience includes preparing and arguing more than 35 appeals.
While attending law school, Kimberly was a member of the Rutgers Law Journal, serving as Symposium Editor.
