Kathryn Freeman-Jones, Esq.
Since graduating from law school in 1988, Ms. Freeman-Jones utilized her nursing and legal experience to focus her practice primarily in representing health care professionals in the areas of risk management, medical malpractice litigation, patient competency and state board inquiries. Ms. Freeman-Jones was an original founding member of Goodman Allen & Filetti. In 2000 she left the practice of law to care for her youngest son who was diagnosed with and ultimately died from leukemia. Returning in 2006, Ms. Freeman-Jones has taken on the role of Director of Development where she oversees the firms business development, client relations, client outreach and industy research, resource development, industry communications, strategic planning and associate development. Since her return, the firm has grown from 17 to 32 attorneys in key strategic practice areas and added two new offices in order to better serve our clients. Ms. Freeman-Jones continues to provide legal services to health care providers primarily in the area of hospital liability, patient competency, and ethics and is an active participant in the Primerus Defense Institute in the area of transportation law.
