Judith N. Littman, Esq.

Judith Littman’s practice focuses on the defense of physicians, dentists, chiropractors, podiatrists and hospitals.  Her responsibilities include handling all aspects of medical malpractice cases from inception to trial.

Prior to joining Lewis Johs, she worked with a large Manhattan defense firm, handling cases involving casualty defense, physician and hospital malpractice, and products liability cases.  Earlier in her legal career, she was a claims representative for a major medical malpractice insurer, and she has worked as a medical case analyst for a major drug manufacturer in its product liability department.  Judith also is a registered nurse, and has worked in several teaching hospitals, specializing in medicine, surgery, urology and critical care.  Throughout her career, she has analyzed medical records and assisted experts with the formulation of viable defense strategies.

In 1995, Judith was admitted to practice in New York and to the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York.  She is a member of the New York State Bar Association.

Judith Littman received her Juris Doctor degree from St. John’s University School of Law in 1994.  She also holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Adelphi University in 1990, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from the State University of New York at Stony Brook in 1982.
