Joshua Golembe is a Senior Associate with in the firm Miami and has been practicing for nine years. His practice focuses on civil litigation in all state and federal courts throughout. He has extensive experience in personal injury, motor carrier litigation, products liability, premises liability and general insurance casualty defense. Mr. Golembe has represented numerous institutional clients in all aspects of litigation from claims handling up through trial and appeals. His litigation experience and skills has won summary judgments in casualty cases. He has, when necessary, handled and argued appeals before the Florida Third and Fourth District Courts of Appeal.
Mr. Golembe has been recognized as a Florida Super Lawyer “Rising Star” in 2014 and 2015, is a member of the Claims & Litigation Management Alliance, and is the former chairperson for the Florida Bar’s Eleventh Circuit Grievance Committee “P”, which serves the Florida Bar investigating and deciding attorney ethical violations. He is a certified graduate of the 41st Annual Trial Academy of the International Association of Defense Counsel (I.A.D.C.) and has published articles in the Florida Defender and Primerus Corporate Client e-Newsletter.
Mr. Golembe has considerable experience in criminal, white collar defense in Florida state and federal courts. He is a former member of the Justice Administrative Commission as an Assistant Public Defender accepting court appointed cases in the 11th Judicial Circuit in and for Miami Dade County, Florida. Mr. Golembe also has previous experience as a trial lawyer defending criminal misdemeanor and felony cases.
He is admitted to the Florida Bar, the District of Columbia Bar, the United States District Courts of the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida, as well as the Federal Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals. Mr. Golembe earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2002 and his law degree from Nova Southeastern Law School, Shepard Broad Law Center, in 2006.
