Joe is an associate at the Indianapolis based plaintiffs’ litigation firm, Price Waicukauski & Riley, LLC. Joe is a trial lawyer, who focuses his practice on representing the rights of the physically and economically injured. Recently, Joe provided the closing arguments after a six-week jury trial against State Farm, which resulted in a $14,500,000.00 verdict for his client. Joe handles all types of trial work, ranging anywhere from personal injury to complex business disputes to products liability.
Joe also devotes a portion of his practice to protecting consumers through statewide and nationwide class action litigation. He has experience in all stages of class action litigation, maintaining a strong focus on the class certification procedure. Joe has successfully handled all aspects of class certification, including the briefing, arguing, and obtaining of class certification in the trial court, and protecting a successful class certification decision in the Court of Appeals and state Supreme Court.
Joe received his J.D. from Vanderbilt University Law School, and was the recipient of the Tennessee Bar Association’s Access to Justice Law Student of the Year in 2004. He has been honored with selection to the Indiana Super Lawyers’ Rising Stars for the past two years (2010, 2011), a designation that recognizes the top up-and-coming attorneys in the state.
Joe is admitted to practice law in the State of Indiana, the U.S. District Courts for the Southern District of Indiana, and the Northern and Central Districts of Illinois, and the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.
