Mr. Tichy’s clients include industry leaders in consumer products design and manufacturing, oilfield services and support, specialty transportation, industrial equipment manufacturing, electrical engineering and control systems, and information technologies, that come to him from throughout the United States, Europe, Asia, and South America for his exceptional legal and government relations acumen and the distinctive personal mark he places on every new project he takes.
Several large non-profit organizations, schools, churches and religious organizations, charitable interests, and foreign government agencies also regularly engage Mr. Tichy to represent them in the United States and internationally.
Mr. Tichy acts as general counsel to several of these clients and manages the full spectrum of their business-related legal needs by identifying, engaging, and managing the professional resources needed to protect their legal and financial interests domestically and internationally.
Mr. Tichy is also the consummate “people person” and represents and advises individuals with sensitive or personal legal needs seeking high-level engagement and attention to detail.
He is licensed in Colorado, Nevada, and Utah and has a strong civil litigation and appellate background having successfully represented clients in several cases before the Utah Court of Appeals and the Utah Supreme Court.
Prior Professional Experience
Before joining Prince, Yeates & Geldzahler, Mr. Tichy spent time as an associate and law clerk at leading law firms in Salt Lake City and in Las Vegas, and in the office of a preeminent international firm in Prague, Czech Republic.
He also has spent six years abroad in international academic, business, legal, and governmental capacities.
In the 1990s he worked for the U.S. Department of State where he was awarded the prestigious Meritorious Honor Medal for his exceptional service. He served as a political analyst and ranking aide to an Assistant Secretary of State and to two U.S. Ambassadors.
