Professional experience
Mr. Albanese joined Coughlin & Gerhart, L.L.P. in 2009 and is “Of Counsel” with the firm. He is the firm’s primary attorney at its Ithaca, New York office. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Albanese was an owner/principal attorney of his Ithaca, New York law firm, Albanese Law Office, which was a successor to the Albanese and Mulvey Law Firm. Prior to that, he practiced as a partner with this father, Frank Albanese, who opened the Albanese Law Firm in Ithaca in the 1950’s. He was the Assistant County Attorney for Tompkins County from 1987 to 1992. Mr. Albanese concentrates his practice in the areas of Real Estate, Wills and Estates.
Mr. Albanese is an active Syracuse University alumni and was a member of the Syracuse University Athletic Policy Board between 2000 and 2004. He is also an active member of the Syracuse University Orange Club and Ernie Davis Club. He is very involved in the Ithaca area community having served as a board member on Social Services League and as a Little League baseball coach and soccer coach. He is also an active member of the United States of America Snowboard Association and member of the United States Roller Sports Association. Mr. Albanese has also been an active competitor in Inline Speed Skating and Short Track Ice Speed Skating. He was born and raised in the Ithaca area.
