Jonathan Ehtessabian, Esq.
BACKGROUND
Jonathan Ehtessabian was born in Dubuqe, Iowa. He graduated from Luther College in Decorah, Iowa, where he earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology. He subsequently earned a Master of Arts degree in Spanish from the University of Iowa.
Mr. Ehtessabian graduated from the University of Iowa, College of Law. While attending the University of Iowa, he worked as a law clerk for the Iowa Coalition against Domestic Violence. He is also fluent in Spanish and worked as a Visiting Professor of Spanish at the University of Iowa while pursuing his law and Spanish degrees. Prior to joining Neil Dymott, Mr. Ehtessabian obtained trial experience while serving as a legal intern in the Domestic Violence Unit of the San Diego City Attorney’s Office.
Mr. Ehtessabian joined Neil Dymott as an associate in 2006. In 2007, he was nominated for San Diego Daily Transcript’s Top Young Attorneys Award. In 2008, Mr. Ehtessabian was recognized by the San Diego Daily Transcript as one of ten finalists for San Diego’s “Top Young Attorneys.” He has tried two civil cases to conclusion, obtaining a 12-0 jury verdict on behalf of the San Diego Public Conservator’s Office and a favorable administrative trial decision in front of the San Diego Immigration Court. His practice areas are focused on the defense of professional liability including medical and legal malpractice matters.
