Jeffrey C. Close, Esq.
JEFFERY C. CLOSE is a 2003 graduate of the University of Alabama. He obtained his Juris Doctorate with a Certificate in Environmental Law in 2007 from Florida Coastal School of Law. While in law school, Mr. Close was awarded first place in the 2007 Dean Frank E. Maloney Student Writing Competition and recognized on numerous occasions as a Dean’s Scholar. Since graduation, Mr. Close has been published in the Florida Bar Journal and has given a number of guest lectures at both Florida Coastal School of Law and the Florida A&M University College of Law.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Close worked for three years as an Assistant General Counsel with the Florida Department of Environmental Protection, where he litigated enforcement cases in a variety of program areas, gaining experience in Florida’s Circuit and District courts, as well as the Florida Division of Administrative Hearings. Mr. Close’s practice currently involves all aspects of civil litigation.
