Ilke Ozun, Esq.

Ilke Özün has represented many local and foreign blue-chip corporate clients in their complex structured M&A projects, particularly in pharmaceutical and telecommunication sectors and so far acted both as the legal advisor of the selling and purchasing companies. She was extensively involved in drafting, negotiating and finalizing various transaction agreements in the mergers and acquisitions area, such as share and asset purchase agreements, joint venture, shareholders agreements and loan agreements. Recently, she has represented a telecommunication company in the acquisition of 100% of its shares by a Turkish Company. Currently she is representing a foreign client in relation to its acquisition of a business in Turkey in agricultural chemicals manufacturing sector.

She has also been providing legal services to companies in the pharmaceutical market, related to all the legal aspects of trading, manufacture and distribution of medicinal products by drafting legal opinions concerning Turkish pharmaceutical law and negotiating agreements on all aspects of her clients’ business such as agency, distribution, licensing and suppy agreements

She is also specialized in negotiation and drafting of Employment and Auction Contracts and Manufacturing and Design Services Agreements.

She further provides legal service to foreign clients in the establishment of their companies in Turkey and she regularly renders legal advice to clients from various industries on energy law, competition law, labor law and corporate governance.

Ilke Özün graduated from Bilkent University, Faculty of Law in 2006. She was admitted to Istanbul Bar Association in 2008.
