Profile
Henry Pharr concentrates on real property and landlord/tenant litigation, commerical and residential real estate practice, and general commercial litigation. Mr. Pharr is admitted to practice before all North Carolina state courts, and the Western, Middle, and Eastern Divisions of the U.S. Federal District Courts of North Carolina.

For over 17 years, Mr. Pharr has been actively engaged in negotiating, modifying, and litigating leases involving retail, industrial, office, and residential properties. He regularly speaks to both attorneys and business groups on real estate leasing issues and collateral legal topics including collections, evictions, liens, property damage, bankruptcy, negotiation tactics, zoning and land use, and condemnation. He is also heavily involved at the local and national levels of ICSC, NAIOP, NARPM, and SAHMA.

Representative clients include Childress Klein Properties, Beacon Partners, Jones Lang LaSalle, Grubb Properties, Edens & Avant, CB Richard Ellis, Equity One, GVA Lat Purser & Associates, Trinity Partners, TESCO Properties, Carlson Real Estate, Bell-Moore Group, American Asset Corporation and The Allen Tate Company.

Mr. Pharr is also a lecturer and seminar leader on landlord and tenant law for the National Business Institute and other organizations such as BOMA, the North Carolina State Bar, the Mecklenburg County Bar and IREM. He maintains a pro bono practice, which includes landlord/tenant work for Mecklenburg County Legal Aid, and was the winner of the Mecklenburg County Bar award for pro bono work in 1998.
