Erika A. Bordan, Esq.
Erika Bordan’s practice is concentrated in the defense of physicians, hospitals, nurses, and other health care providers in malpractice actions. She has also represented physicians before the Department of Health concerning disciplinary and licensure matters.
Erika has an extensive medical background in operating room and emergency room procedure, and in medical surgical nursing. Earlier in her career, she was a nurse in the U.S. Army Nurse Corps stationed at Ft. Benning, Georgia; Fort Sam, Houston, Texas and Fort Polk, Louisiana and later practiced at medical centers located in Connecticut, Pennsylvania and New York.
Erika was admitted to practice in the State of Connecticut in 1988, the State of Pennsylvania in 1990, and the State of New York in 1993. She was also admitted to practice before the United States District Court, District of Connecticut in 1989, Western District of Pennsylvania in 1990, and Southern and Eastern Districts of New York in 1993. She is a member of the American Health Lawyers Association, the American Association of Nurse Attorneys, and the New York State Bar Association.
Erika Bordan received her Juris Doctor Degree from Quinnipiac University School of Law in 1988. In 1980, she was awarded a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, summa cum laude, from Long Island University/C.W. Post.
