Libby James practices in Family Law with emphasis on alimony, post-separation support, equitable distribution, separation agreements, premarital agreements, child support, child custody, contempt motions, qualified domestic relations orders, name changes, and domestic violence protective orders. Ms. James is also admitted to practice in the Western District of North Carolina, and in the State of South Carolina.
While in law school, Ms. James’s honors and activities included Moot Court, Associate Justice (2004-2005); S.C. Journal of International Law and Business, Student Works Editor (2004-2005); G.G. Dowling Scholarship recipient; Pro Bono Board; and the CALI Award, Advanced Civil Procedure.
