Elisabeth Leonard joined Brayton Purcell as an associate attorney in 2010 and is active in our asbestos litigation practice at our Novato, California office.
Ms. Leonard attended law school at the University of California Hastings College of Law, graduating cum laude in 2010. She earned a Witkin Award for Academic Excellence in California Water Law and honorable mention for her oral argument and appellate brief in moot court.
Prior to attending law school, she earned a Ph.D. in English Literature from Kent State University in 2001. Ms. Leonard also has received an MFA in Fiction Writing from the University of Pittsburgh and a bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts from St. John’s College.
Prior to attending law school, Ms. Leonard worked for Brayton Purcell as a paralegal and later as a law clerk. She has also spent time as a freelance writer and editor.
Ms. Leonard is admitted to practice in the state of California and is a member of the Consumer Attorneys of California.
