Biography:

Donna M. Lamontagne has over 15 years of litigation experience in courts throughout Rhode Island and Massachusetts. In addition to trial work, Attorney Lamontagne has devoted time to improving Alternative Dispute Resolution in Rhode Island.  She is a registered arbitrator for the Rhode Island Superior Court-Annexed Arbitration Program.  She has served as chair of the Superior Court Bench/Bar Medical Malpractice Subcommittee.  Under her influence, that committee created a new mandatory mediation program for medical malpractice cases, which is currently being implemented by the Superior Court of Rhode Island.  The committee also drafted an administrative order for use in medical malpractice cases to govern the discovery process and timing of expert disclosure.  Ms. Lamontagne also served as a member of the Superior Court Mediation Subcommittee.  Attorney Lamontagne has presented at the Annual Rhode Island Bar Association Meeting, and been an instructor for the National Business Institute on The Art of the Settlement.  In 2008, she served on a panel for the Rhode Island Association for Justice dealing with Taking Arbitration and Mediation to a New Level.
