Donald E. Showalter concentrates his legal work in the commercial/corporate and probate areas, serving as counsel to numerous local corporations, with particular interest in the law of agricultural cooperatives. Mr. Showalter had the unique opportunity to file an amicus curiae brief on behalf of the Mennonite Church in Wisconsin v. Yoder, 406 U.S. 205 (1972), a landmark U.S. Supreme Court case upholding the First Amendment religious freedom of the Amish. He began his career at Wharton Aldhizer & Weaver PLC in 1965.
