David Woods is a partner in the firm’s real estate and tax credit finance practice groups. Mr. Woods represents commercial real estate firms on all aspects of commercial real estate including development, property management, construction and brokerage. In the development area, David has significant experience in representing developers of multi-family housing, retail shopping centers and industrial parks.

Additionally, David represents numerous developers in connection with the financing structures for both affordable housing and historic rehabilitation developments. In the affordable housing area, he has gained substantial expertise in projects financed with a combination of Low Income Housing Tax Credits and Tax-Exempt Bonds. In the past two years, David has served as primary developer’s counsel on Tax Credit/Bond financed transactions in connection with the construction or rehabilitation of over 2,500 apartment units. In the historic rehabilitation area, David has worked on projects using all forms of incentives, including Federal and State Historic Rehabilitation Tax Credits, Missouri Brownfield Remediation Tax Credits and Missouri Neighborhood Preservation Tax Credits.

David is licensed to practice in Missouri and is a member of the American Bar Association, the Missouri Bar and the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis.
