David G. Jennings has an active municipal utility practice in the state and federal courts, with work focusing primarily on local water and sewer utilities. He has served as general counsel to the North Charleston Sewer District since 1973, to the Berkeley County Water and Sanitation Authority since 1980 and to the Mount Pleasant Waterworks since 1988. In addition to his municipal utility practice, David provides legal counsel to federal employees who have suffered hearing loss during the scope of their federal employment.

Admitted to practice in the state courts of South Carolina and North Carolina and in the federal courts, including the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court, David is a member of the Charleston County Bar Association, the South Carolina Bar and the American Bar Association. He has previously served on the Board of Governors of the South Carolina Trial Lawyers Association and the Executive Committee of the Charleston County Bar Association. In addition, he is chairman of Coastal South Carolina USA and treasurer, Executive Committee member and Board of Governors member of the Charleston Area Convention & Visitors Bureau.

David received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Davidson College and graduated from the University of South Carolina School of Law with High Honors. As a law student, he was a member of the Society of Wig and Robe, the National Moot Court team and served on the University of South Carolina Law Review.
