EDUCATION
When asked to describe what the phrase “nonstop advocate” means to him, Chris Berdy says it’s an unwavering dedication to service before self. It means placing the interests of clients, the firm and the community above his own interests.
Chris first learned this dedication to client service while working at his father’s periodontal practice. As a boy, Chris’s father immigrated with his family to Ellis Island from post-WWII Europe. He had nothing and spoke no English at the time. Dr. Berdy ultimately earned his education and established a successful service-based business where Chris worked throughout his childhood.
Chris says his father and other mentors have taught him that he can overcome any challenge through perseverance and a positive attitude. He takes this approach when counseling Christian & Small’s product manufacturing, health care and business clients with their legal matters.
