Charles Hlavinka, a graduate of Texas A&M University and the University of Texas Law School, joined the firm in the fall of 1959 to fill a need for an attorney to handle finance, real estate, business transactions, and federal taxation.
Born East Bernard, Texas, October 16, 1932; admitted to bar, 1959, Texas; 1961, Arkansas; also admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of the United States, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth and Eighth Circuits, and the U.S. Tax Court. Preparatory education, Texas A&M University (B.B.A., [Accounting] 1954; Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society); legal education, University of Texas (LL.B., 1959). Fraternity: Phi Delta Phi. Member: Texarkana and Northeast Texas Bar Associations; State Bar of Texas.
