BIOGRAPHY

Brian O’Connell has broad trial and appellate experience in Massachusetts and Rhode Island state and federal courts. Mr. O’Connell has a diverse practice including construction, commercial litigation, premises liability, toxic tort and products liability. Mr. O’Connell also represents insurers and insureds in insurance coverage and “bad faith” litigation. He has written and lectured on bad faith litigation for the Massachusetts Bar Association and Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education. Law and Politics Magazine has named Mr. O’Connell a Massachusetts and New England “Super Lawyer” in each of the past four years. Mr. O’Connell serves as an officer and director of the Massachusetts Defense Lawyers Association. Mr. O’Connell is a “Triple Eagle”, graduating from Boston College High School, Boston College, and Boston College Law School, where he was a member of the Regional Champion National Moot Court Team.

Mr. O’Connell lives in Needham, Massachusetts with his wife and two daughters.  He is active in coaching and administration of youth basketball and soccer.
