Annu joined Banymandhub-Boolell Chambers in January 2006. She graduated from the University of Mauritius with an LLB (Honours) in 2003 and successfully completed her Bar Vocational Examinations at the Council of Legal Education in Mauritius and was called to the Mauritian Bar in January 2006. In 2007, Annu obtained a “Maitrise en Droit des Affaires” from Paris I La Sorbonne University, France and in 2009 she completed a Masters degree in “Droit International Economique” from the same University in France. Annu has previously been a part time lecturer at the university of Mauritius where she has lectured Company Law to MBA students, Droit des sociétés to Law and Management students and Commercial contracts to students of Finance with Law.
