Anne Acuña joined Brayton Purcell as an associate attorney in 2007 and is active in our asbestos litigation practice at our Novato, California Office.
Ms. Acuña attended law school at the University of San Francisco School of Law and graduated with her J.D. in 2006. While in law school, she received the CALI Award for Excellence in Legal Research and Writing, and competed in the Thomas Tang National Moot Court Competition. She previously attended the University of California at Berkeley and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Economics and a minor in Public Policy.
During law school, Ms. Acuña worked for a small civil rights firm, focusing on employment discrimination and other civil rights cases. She also interned at the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, working with their trial team on employment discrimination cases. During law school, Ms. Acuña also served as a law clerk with the Asian Pacific Islander Legal Outreach, working with victims of domestic violence and low income clients on immigration, elder abuse, and family law cases.
Ms. Acuña is admitted to practice in the state of California and is a member of the Public Justice and Consumer Attorneys of California.
