Profile
Amy Hunt focuses her litigation practice on resolving real property disputes, including title insurance disputes, commercial real estate disputes, boundary disputes, and construction litigation. Ms. Hunt also provides coverage opinions for title insurance companies. She also handles malpractice defense for real estate attorneys and general commercial litigation.
She is admitted to practice in all three federal districts in North Carolina and in South Carolina state courts.
Ms. Hunt served for four years as the Co-Chair of the Academic Internship Program through the Young Lawyers Division of the Mecklenburg County Bar. She is also a graduate of the 2009 Mecklenburg County Bar Leadership Institute. Currently, Ms. Hunt serves as a member of the Mecklenburg County Bar Board of Directors and on the Board of Continuing Legal Education for the North Carolina State Bar.
While in law school, she was a managing editor of the Ohio State Law Journal.
Ms. Hunt was also selected by Law & Politics Magazine as a 2010 North Carolina “Rising Star” for Litigation.
