Allen Bertin is a member of the firm’s Business Group. Allen regularly represents owners in the formation and start-up of new businesses and advises those owners, and the businesses’ directors, managers and officers, regarding all facets of continuing operations. He also has experience representing companies in mergers, conversions, and acquisitions and sales of assets, as well as restructuring and recapitalization transactions.
Allen frequently works with the firm’s estate planning group in representing owners of closely-held and/or family-owned businesses to help them achieve their estate and corporate planning objectives. He also has experience working with the firm’s estate planning attorneys in the formation and continuing representation of family limited partnerships.
