Alan Harrel has a litigation practice and over 30 years experience in the defense of doctors and hospitals. His practice also includes the defense of claims in products liability and truck accidents. He is a mediator trained by the American Arbitration Association.
Born Miami, Florida, November 12, 1947; admitted to bar, 1978, Arkansas; 1979, Texas; also admitted to practice before U.S. District Court, Western District of Arkansas, Eastern District of Texas and Fifth and Eighth Circuit Courts of Appeals. Preparatory education, Westminster College (B.A., 1969); legal education, Gonzaga University, University of Arkansas, Little Rock (J.D., 1978). Fraternity: Phi Alpha Delta. Member: Texarkana, Southwest Arkansas, Arkansas and American Bar Associations; State Bar of Texas; Life Fellow – Texas Bar Foundation; Texas Young Lawyers Association (Director, 1983-85), Texas Association of Defense Counsel, Arkansas Association of Defense Counsel, Defense Research Institute.
