Mr. Charters' practice as a high profile litigator with one of the largest professional liability defense firms in the Commonwealth of Virginia underscores the tremendous experience he brought to Goodman Allen Donnelly, when he joined as a Partner in 2003. As an active duty Major in the United States Army from 1980-1991, Mr. Charters gained invaluable experience in health care litigation in positions he held throughout the United States, including the Pentagon, Fort Bliss and the United States Military Academy. In both Virginia and northeastern North Carolina, the focus of Mr. Charters practice is in the areas of Professional Liability Defense, Workers' Compensation, Real Estate, Products Liability and Complex Litigation. He is a frequent lecturer to health care providers on the topics of health care and medical malpractice defense.
